Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

Job Description:
A clinic in North Carolina is seeking an urgent care nurse practitioner who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately four months from late May to late September.
On a typical day, the provider will see between 20 and 25 patients of all ages for suturing, splinting, burn care, I&D, foreign body removal, elbow reduction, and laceration repairs.
The locum will work from 7:30 a.
to 6:30 p.
This facility uses the Epic EMR and will provide training.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
